Christmas Greetings!

At this special time of the year I must take time to send my love and Christmas Greetings to all our sewing friends. Herb and I have had the opportunity to meet “sew” many of you as we have traveled across the USA and into Canada this year presenting the Sew and Quilt with Sue programs! Thank you for your warm welcome and wonderful friendships!

We have traveled over 35,000 miles by car and more by air and give thanks for our health and safe travels. The last four days of travel across the US and through the Rocky Mountains has reminded us again of the beauty of this country and the opportunities it offers all of us.

We celebrated Christmas with our oldest son and his family in Columbus, Ohio last weekend then began the drive Monday morning. The sun was shining across Interstate 70 until we hit route 80 just north of Denver. Then snow and ice for two days kept us traveling slowly and stopping early to wait the storm out. We arrived at our second son’s home in San Jose, CA last night and will drive on to meet our youngest son and family on Monday. Our daughter stayed in St Paul, MN this year and will be working on Christmas. She works in a hospital with older people in for evaluation and I know they will enjoy her Christmas caroling and spirit.

Most of all this season we give thanks for Jesus and as we celebrate His birthday with our Christmas joy we look forward to the New Year with His presence in our lives.

I will post a 2011 calendar soon. We are not traveling as much next year as our goal is to sell our home in Ohio and move to the West. We are headed to Green Valley, AZ for the winter and will be looking there then returning to Ohio in April.

Wishing you a very blessed and wonderful Christmas and the Happiest of New Years! More soon, I promise!
